Over at the Class Discussion forum, Immune had suggested that Paladin Schmaladin be removed from the list of Paladin Class sites because Ferraro had been outed at a fraud.
I mentioned that the information was probably still helpful, to which I was countered with "True but we don't know if what she wrote is actually hers. Just a thought."
I thought this was an interesting comment for blogging in general. There are many class sites out there, and a large number of them don't have what would be called "exclusive data". By that I mean that the data being shared was pulled from another site, Elitist Jerks for example. Which begs the question - is the value of a site measured by who posts the information, or the validity of the information itself? For example, if someone posts a raid strat that is very effective, but they themselves have not done the raid, is the strat considered "invalid"?
