| Is there some type of tanking addon that will automatically target an enemy if it is attacking someone besides me? | |

| That may not be an 'addon' as much as it would be an 'exploit.' | |

| Alternatively, you can set up grid to make a mark in the corner of the players frame if they have aggro. | |

| You could approximate something to do that, but it wouldn't be 100% accurate. I'll assume you want it to work like how autotarget works on yourself (if you get hit when you don't have a target, it'll target that mob).
So, the plan would be to listen to the combat log for when something hits someone and then target the something doing the hitting. But, afaik you'd have to use something akin to the /target command which targets by name. That means if there are multiple mobs with the same name, you can't be sure that you're targeting the one that is actually hitting them.
I do not know of an addon that does this.

| Yes. I would suggest using grid or healbot with an aggro indicator. | |

| Don't worry if someone pulls aggro they don't last long. | |

| I tried out XPerl and Grid. I liked Grid better because I could still keep the default unit frames on (training wheels ). When I was using XPerl I felt lost. Yes, it has a LOT of features but everything was just too small for me. Is there anyway to change the look of Xperl? Edit: Hehe! You mentioned this thread on the show. | |

| Xperl is completely customizable, but a bit complicated. If you like grid, try HealBot, too. It has the same functionality, only way easier to navigate the customization. The AGGRO warning on grid is a little freaking dot in the corner, but on HealBot it is >> and you can have it change colors. | |

The thing I liked about XPerl was how it made the icons for any DoTs I put on a target really big and had the time left on it. Not sure if you know what im talking about...
