PostSubject: Dual specs and addons.   4/14/2009, 12:44 pm

With the introduction of dual specs tomorrow (or today for you lucky Yanks) im wondering if there is a way of changing my UI slightly depending on my spec. Eg making Grid smaller while tanking, but showing omen. Perhaps over time addons will gain imbuilt profiling for dual specs?

Any thoughts?

I would think that the larger add-ons will take that into consideration. You'd think they'd have to, considering how different one's playstyle is depending on spec.

Most of these mods use the same Ace2/3 library for saving profile information on either a per-character, -realm, -faction, or -account basis. The ace developers who created this library are probably up to their ears in bugfixes right now, but after that's done I imagine they'll update this library to create a per-spec database (as it's a feature a lot of people will want).
