Yes, that is Arnold in the bottom left corner. Why you might ask, why the hell not. But really i made that picture in Photoshop and has always been a personal logo.

Not bad, I've never been a fan of the bottom section of the screen cut off with a solid strip/background like that but whatever works for ya right?

Gonna be overhauling the UI for my pally again soon and I'll try and get a pic posted.

I agree about the strip, but I have to wonder, since I play on a laptop, if that strip would help my FPS any. Less to draw=moar FPS?

I believe that just because it's covered doesn't mean that it doesn't draw behind it. If you were to make the strip lightly transparent it would draw the items that are behind it.

To make a few suggestiosn to your ui funkster:

Do something with your button bars and the free space around their edges/below them.

GET RID OF THE CHAT COPY PAGES!!! (pet peve sorry)

get rid of the minimap icons (see above)

do you really need the practicly transparent help/bag bars? i'd look into getting something like cargbags + nyvia (spelling). /gm is your friend Razz

How about this for a funky UI
My ui

It won't let me use the /img function so I had to post a link from Photoshack.

I'm gonna do my best to get a pic posted of mine tonight as I'm gonna be running ToC25 and it'll be easier to get a shot of my raid interface.

Recount is reset daily at least...there's a LOT of stuff going on the background that's not raiding related. Auctioneer and Questhelper are left on by default but my system more then handles the extra load while raiding and I have yet to experience any fps issues or lag in game that could be equated to addons. At one point when my addon directory was more bloated I was over the 100mb mark and still I would notice nothing in game.

ya, QuestHelper does take up a lot of memory. I have been tweaking my UI and by tweaking i mean completely changed it. I got tired of arnold staring at me.

Looks good man, gave me some really good ideas for redesigning my own UI. Got a solid spot in ToC10 and 25 as Ret and some things could definitely look a little different.
