Priests/Druids & The Spirit NERF

have any of the priests/druids really noticed any differnece in mana regen? i looked at my Mp5 and im only about 20 lower than b4 patch.... and did anyone else seem to have lost any spell power with 3.1, seems 100 of mine just vansihed...I guess i wont really know till raid day, but so far in Heroics mana is still not an issue...

Then again, when i heard they were NERFING spirit, i went with stacking INT for a larger mana pool...

I have raided Tuesday, Wednesday, and now Thursday and I can honestly say the mana regeneration change has been minimal. My spirit was insanely high before the patch, and I can tell somewhat of a change, but it hasn't caused me any dire troubles as of yet.

Im in the same boat as you guys I think, ive noticed almost no difference in mana regen, although the lifebloom change hit me pretty hard. Sad

i dont want to brag but i havent noticed much difference
maybe as a shaman water shield is that good

I ran my first instance as a healer last night on my shaman, and thanks to nearly all of my gear having Mp5, I didn't run out. Now that being said, it was only a reg Nexxus, so not that taxing as a healer, but still challenging enough considering it was the first time the DK tanked it and he was way undergeared... and he wasn't 80 either (buddy of mine).

Plus, we had two locks, so with life tap, I kept having to top them up before each fight... constantly.

Mana regen wasn't a problem (and I was undergeared too).

I can say that I much prefer healing on my druid though. I'm looking forward to more with the shaman, but having healed on a druid, priest and now shaman, the druid is still the most fun. I just love the healing mechanics with the druid.

Do shamans even use spirit in the way Druids and Priests do? cuse i know paladins do not, and i just figured Shamans were the same way.

well I had stacked spirit before for mp5 and my mp5 has dropped from 1300 to about 800 which is kinda big but with shadow fiend buff and hymn of hope buff it kind of evens out but I actually use them instead of just being able to heal so I notice it. But I'm still ok in the long run.

Shaman use MP5, not spirit. They're in the same boat with Pallies. This change was focused on Priests and Druids reaping in huge returns from stacking spirit. As a raid leader, I haven't noticed any issue with healers and mana. Seems to be a minor inconvenience, if that.
