Teething wasn't bad for my daughter... the first one was the worst. After that i just kept feeling more and more sharp objects in her mouth.

I do sympathize with you though. My friend's son was a BEAST during teething... screaming and yelling all the time. Nothing they did helped except for putting his teething toys in the freezer.

Teething is when a babies teeth start cutting through the gums. It is very painful for the kid. And, to a baby who is only used to the pain of sitting in his own poop, cutting teeth is murder.

It wasn't too bad with my spawn. But, then again, he never really complains about anything even to this day.

Yeah her two top teeth are coming in. We got her some numbing gel, but you have to rub it on the extremely sore area, and she isn't sleeping through the night. Its so much fun. Dont procreate you will regret it.

I don't know if you have a wal-mart near you, but they sell teething tablets that dissolve almost instantly. My wife and I used them when both of our kids starting teething and they worked wonders. My daughter was cutting 4 teeth at once and we had to give her small doses of infant motrin to ease the pain.

Yeah, it's painful when you pop wisdom teeth, imagine that for a little kid, all over their mouth.

Numbing gel, infant tylenol/motrin, frozen damp cloth, teething toys...all good.

yeah, the frozen damp cloth trick works pretty good too...just don't do like I did and get the whole cloth wet, just a corner or so

My sister-in-law swore by frozen fruit and juices. This thing is awesome, but I didn't discover it when my son was younger.

Yeah we didn't find out about that one until after my son had cut all his teeth, and my daughter refuses to use it. Then again, she won't use anything that might get in the way of her pacifier...
