More classes?

:D i say more classes because the term hero i think will be washed away if in fact they do ever introduce more classes, which in my mind they should, fuckin full steam ahead!

Enough with the qq over the balancing aspects, i happen to enjoy alts and playing them and re rolling, but ive come to a point where i do not wanna re roll a druid, a rogue, a priest or a lock lol, they do not grab my attention. Why not a healer that uses rage, energy, or maybe even runic power.

To me that was blizzard's biggest mistake in the introduction of the death knight class, was they did compliment them with another to try out as well...and please, save the argument of, its too much effort for blizzard to all this kinda work...funny, dont we pay them a shit ton of money?

anyways, what do u guys think>? i totally disagree on Total biscuits stance a few episodes back.

I agree with TB in regards to the fact that they haven't added anything role-wise to the game when they added DK's. There really are only three roles to be concerned with. Tanks, dps and heals... But yeah, I completely disagree with the notion that they shouldn't bother to add new classes in the future. The thing I love about the DK (balance aside) is the change in mechanics with the use of a rune system and runic power. It added a level of interest for me that I still enjoy. His argument was that DK's were the new kids on the block and weren't necessary. The fact is, I've been playing the game for over 4 years. I'm not new. I would be taking up a raid spot regardless of what toon I bring, so why should there be a problem with me being there?

I think a new system for healing would be cool for a new class. When you create a homogenization of play (with the notion of bringing the player and not the class), you create a situation where leveling a new class isn't very inviting because it's very similar to every other class in that role. That's one of the reasons I have latched on to DK's is that the mechanics are interesting.

As long as it takes to come up with a class whose mechanics make it interesting, i am willing to wait... and yes, I will even play a healer if that's the new class that's introduced. I'm sure they have something cooking.

Ya, im just not happy with the idea of just accepting this is all we have and all we will ever have. and i could care less for blizz's next mmo anyway. IMO wow can hold up for a long long time, if done right.

More classes, more content, hell more races too ( i dont care about warcraft 3 lore so just leave it alone lol, if i am not mistaken they wrote so they can always rewrite it!), More professions (woodworking anyone? a profession to craft bows, arrows, staves! maybe even off hands, and possibly some sort of mounts), more quests and less fuckin daily quests please, better starter zones for each class ala DEath knight (yes i said it, rework that shit, do i fail to point out blizz wipes their ass with our money?) i could go on and on and on.

ive already made a wall of crit text on my blog about this whole topic. i got angry over there lol, im cool now i think. i think i just feel wow can be around a long time, and at the same time i kinda do not want it to go away....but i have to say i think in terms of the raids and dungeons i almost am leaning to thinking that BC was better done...now questing is a whole diff thing, quests in northrend own outland imo.

one more thing about the holy trinity of dps,tank, and heals....now that would be nice to change, My gf keeps bringing up old EQ and the enchanter class. nothing but a pure CC class. in terms of what they would bring to the table whos knows, but still thats a good idea to change things up. Even star ward galaxies had an entertainer class, i never played it but it had to have been interesting.
